Staying Active in Sackville

<Back to Love, Sackville Articles

Go on and get outside, Sackville! With over 14kms of trails and can’t miss views to watch the plants and animals at our lakes, there’s plenty to enjoy in the beautiful outdoors of Sackville! Sackville Lakes Provincial Park includes a lengthy rock and dust trail visiting wetlands, lakes, and some old-growth forest through First Lake Glen Slauenwhite Trail, Great Oak Trail, and Lakeside Trail.

It’s like a little slice of heaven in the middle of the hustle and bustle of our local businesses.

Pop on over a little closer to the business district to check out the Sackville Greenway Trail connecting Glendale Drive to Sackville Drive along the Little Sackville River for a two-lane, paved, flat path. It’s like a little slice of heaven in the middle of the hustle and bustle of our local businesses. If you’d like to mosy on over to the next business district of Bedford, park along the eastern end of Old Sackville Road and hop onto the Bedford-Sackville Connector trail taking you from our very own Fultz House all the way to Scott Manor House via trails and sidewalks.

We suggest cooling off from all that walking in the clear waters of Third Lake. Pack a picnic and enjoy the beauty of Acadia Park right in the middle of the business district with a bright, huge playground to satisfy the climbers and runners.
